Refund policy

Effective date: 6 April 2026

This Return & Refund Policy applies to all purchases made at chloedublin.com and is governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Nothing in this policy limits or replaces any rights you hold under applicable Irish or EU consumer law.

1. Your Statutory Right of Cancellation

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 — which gives effect to the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) in Irish law — you have the right to cancel a distance contract within 14 calendar days of the day on which you, or a third party nominated by you, receive the goods, without giving any reason.

To exercise this right, you must notify us before the 14-day cancellation period expires. Please send your cancellation notice by email to support@chloedublin.com, including your name, order number (as shown on your confirmation email), and a clear statement that you wish to cancel. We will acknowledge your cancellation by return email.

Following notification of cancellation, you must return the goods to us without undue delay, and no later than 14 calendar days from the date of your cancellation notice. You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods unless we have agreed otherwise or the goods are faulty or incorrectly sent.

We will reimburse all payments received from you — including the cost of standard outbound delivery (but not any supplementary costs arising from your choice of a more expensive delivery method) — within 5 business days of receiving your return. Funds will typically appear in your account within 10 business days of us receiving the returned goods. Reimbursement will be made to your original payment method only.

2. Our 30-Day Goodwill Return Policy

In addition to your statutory rights, Chloe Dublin offers a 30-day goodwill return window from the date of delivery. This means you may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order.

Returns requested after the 14-day statutory cancellation period, but within 30 days of delivery, are treated as goodwill returns. Under this goodwill policy:

  • The original outbound delivery charge is not refunded.
  • The cost of return postage is your responsibility.

This goodwill policy does not limit or replace any statutory rights you hold under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 or any other applicable legislation.

3. How to Start a Return

To initiate any return — whether under your statutory right of cancellation or our goodwill policy — please email our customer service team at support@chloedublin.com with your order number as shown on your confirmation email. We will respond within 1 business day during our customer service hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–7pm.

If your return request is approved, we will send you the return address and full instructions on how and where to send your package. Items returned without prior authorisation will not be accepted.

4. Eligibility for Returns

To qualify for a return under our 30-day goodwill policy, items must be:

  • Unworn and unwashed
  • In their original condition
  • Returned with all original tags and liners attached

Items showing signs of wear, use, or damage may not be accepted under the goodwill policy. These conditions do not affect your statutory rights in respect of faulty, damaged, or misdescribed goods.

5. Return Shipping

Responsibility for return shipping costs depends on the reason for the return:

  • Change-of-mind (goodwill) returns: You are responsible for all return postage costs.
  • Faulty, damaged, or incorrectly sent items: Chloe Dublin will cover the full cost of return shipping. Please contact us within 30 days of delivery to report the issue.

We recommend returning items via An Post using a fully tracked service. We cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost or damaged in transit during their return journey.

For bundled purchases, all items included in the bundle must be returned together. Individual items from a bundle cannot be returned separately.

6. Damages and Faulty Goods

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us immediately by emailing support@chloedublin.com so that we can assess the issue and resolve it without delay.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2022, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. Where goods do not conform to these requirements, you are entitled to a remedy, which may include repair, replacement, price reduction, or a full or partial refund, as appropriate under Irish law.

7. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. To receive a different item, please return the original item in accordance with the return procedure above. Once your return is accepted and your refund has been processed, you may place a new order at chloedublin.com/collections/all.

8. Refunds

Once we receive your returned package, we will inspect it and process your refund within 5 business days. Once processed, funds typically appear in your account within 10 business days of us receiving your return, depending on your bank, card provider, or payment processor.

All refunds are issued to the original payment method only. Please note that your bank or card provider may require additional time to post the refund to your account.

If more than 10 business days have passed since your return was approved and you have not yet received your refund, please contact us at support@chloedublin.com.

All prices on our website are inclusive of VAT at the standard rate of 23% in accordance with the Value-Added Tax Consolidation Act 2010. Refunds will include any VAT paid.

9. Restocking Fee

We do not apply a restocking fee. Restocking fee: €0.

If you are not satisfied with our response to a complaint or return request, you may seek assistance from any of the following:

  • Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC)www.ccpc.ie — the statutory body responsible for enforcing consumer protection law in Ireland.
  • EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) Platformec.europa.eu/consumers/odr — an EU-wide platform for resolving disputes between consumers and online traders.
  • Small Claims Court — for low-value consumer disputes in the Republic of Ireland.
